Don’t ship the art

The art world currently relies almost entirely on moving unique art pieces producing massive amounts of greenhouse emissions. This project questions this practice and invites us to rethink the reproducibility of art, archetypes, and instances in which art is created, shared, sold, and collected. Can virtual art be a legitimate format like any other?

Francisco Vai Jong Hunken

Vai jong is an industrial designer and brand consultant. He strives for an anthropological approach, taking into account cultural differences in communication, habits and traditions. He currently manages a contemporary art gallery, teaches undergraduate courses in design, and has just started a design studio where he works with clients developing products and architectural projects.
